  1. Get a solid saas sales coach
    • Find someone who has done at least 100k+ cold calls. The more they’ve done, the better. For example you ask them a question about a new technique you want to try and the more calls they’ve done the more they will know if that approach is successful or not. And make sure they have success at a startup.
  2. Prepare with mock calls
    • Because you picked someone with 100k+ calls under their belt they will be able to answer all of your questions about cold calling with a larger sample size of data.
  3. Trust the process with your coach
    • Learn the skills & behaviors of a successful coach and you will save years of mistakes that they made. Build on their success and you should be able to outperform them if they are worth their salt.
  4. Never stop learning
    • Go beyond every coach by combining techniques of multiple coaches. And put your own unique approach on it. That’s what worked for me.
