The 12 Step Cold Calling Diet by Cloud Sales Coach

If you have done any amount of sitting in a chair all day in an office setting you’ll know it can greatly affect your health. Consult a physician but here’s what one shared with me.
Overall Approach
1. Get Active: Walk for 30 minutes twice per day. Once before your shift, and once after your shift. Add on your lunch break too if you take one hour lunches.
2. Eat less! Your portions need to be lower if you move less.
3. Get great sleep! Being rested has your mind ready to spar on the phone.
4. Things you don’t think about: Get great data, a great parallel dialer like Koncert, and Cloud Sales Coach and you’ll spend less time dialing because you’re more effective!
Hydration and Voice Care
5. Drink cool water all day to keep throat tissues moist and prevent vocal strain.
6. Electrolytes: Add a slice of lemon or a pinch of salt to water for cellular hydration.
7. Avoid Dairy: Skip milk or heavy cream before calling blocks because it creates throat mucus.
8. Skip Excess Caffeine: Limit coffee to avoid vocal jitters, high anxiety, and sudden energy crashes. If you must drink coffee wait 30 minutes after you have been awake before drinking the first sip to avoid the mid day crash.
Focus and Energy Foods
9. Fresh Apples: Provide a steady, natural sugar release that acts as a caffeine-free boost.
10. Nuts and Seeds: Deliver healthy fats and amino acids for sustained cognitive focus.
11. Bananas: Supply potassium to maintain steady nerves and electrolyte balance.
12. Oatmeal: Offers a slow-digesting morning base that prevents early blood sugar spikes.
